What this is
A community, not a course catalogue
AIMOCS publishes an open library on AI in healthcare, tracks new research as it appears in the journals, and runs one cohort at a time. It is built for practising clinicians, informaticists, health-system executives and researchers — people in different institutions making the same decisions a few months apart from each other.
AIMOCS was an AI development studio until July 2026. It is now a community for AI in healthcare. Material from the earlier company has been retired rather than rewritten; where an old page still exists on the web, it describes an entity that no longer trades.
Universities sell courses in this subject and several of them are good. What none of them run is a room that stays open after the last session, which is where the decisions actually get made. The comparison page sets out how AIMOCS stands against those programmes, including where they are ahead.
Standards
How the writing is held to account
Every published piece carries numbered primary sources, the date it was last updated, and the name of anyone who reviewed it. Articles are bylined to AIMOCS as an organisation; pen names were retired in August 2026 and no piece is attributed to an author who does not exist.
Statistics carry the date they were true and the source they came from. Corrections are made on the page, dated, rather than quietly. The full policy on sourcing, review and correction is on the editorial standards page.
Who runs it
Ibrahem Albalkhi
AI and healthcare researcher. He holds editorial responsibility for everything AIMOCS publishes.
He has 36 PubMed-indexed publications as of 13 August 2026. Five are listed below, each linked to its DOI so it can be checked. The affiliations printed on those papers are Alfaisal University College of Medicine in Riyadh, Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
