Python Primer

Who it's for. Clinicians with no programming background: physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other clinical staff who have decided to write code and want to start at what a variable is, using the kind of data they already understand. If you have already written a loop and a function, skim lectures 1 to 4 and start properly at lecture 5.

The capstone. One Python script, run by you on your own machine, that reads a small CSV of synthetic clinical observations, summarises each patient, checks its own logic with assert, and writes the result to a new CSV.
