Who it's for. Engineers, informaticians, physician-builders, and researchers who will personally build the thing: the person who will write the retrieval pipeline, choose the model, run the evaluation, and sign the model card. It suits a CMIO who still codes, a research fellow automating chart review, and a founder building the first version alone. It does not suit someone who only needs to supervise this work — that is the Lead lane.
The capstone. A deployed, evaluated language-model application for one real clinical or operational task — with a 20-item golden-set eval, a red-team report, a cost model, and a model card your governance committee could read tomorrow.
